Change for Teens

Change for Teens Foundation (CFT), is a non-profit organization which came about when my life was touched by the stories of girls much like myself, on the other side of the world. Images and videos from war-torn Sierra Leone compelled me to make a difference, by bringing other teenagers along for a fulfilling journey of local community service and international action and awareness.

In Sierra Leone, where education beyond the primary level is not free, the teenage girl child is most at risk. Without the empowerment of a formal education the path of young girls living in poverty, would certainly be destined to lives of very limited opportunities. For $150.00 a year, (this includes: tuition, books and uniforms) with your support, we can do this - we can effect change both locally and internationally, one teen at a time… Please join us.

CFT ‘s INTERNATIONAL VISION is to impact and empower as many girls as we can with a high school education, thus breaking the cycle of poverty and changing the course of their future generations.

A BIG THANK YOU to my generous donors who responded to our letter writing campaign, donated at my Sweet Sixteen, and participated at the restaurant fundraisers! We did it together!
